We are a diversified group of companies across the Health and Social Care sector.   We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Assistant Manager Service Development to work out of our Corporate Development  Team. The successful candidate will play a key role in executing our M&A strategy, focused on identifying, evaluating, and executing deals within  Health and Social Care,  to drive growth and value creation for our Group. The role may involve travel across the UK

Primary Responsibilities

  • Work with the Senior Financial Analyst, Group Accountant & Group Service Director to identify potential acquisition targets
  • Assess target companies’ strategic fit, financial performance, and operational capabilities.
  • Administer the monthly M&A funnel, updating and maintaining a comprehensive overview of potential transactions.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on market analyses and industry trends.
  • Support the due diligence process, including financial, legal, operational, and commercial assessments.
  • Work closely with external advisors and internal teams to identify risks and opportunities associated with potential acquisitions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a smooth transition and realization of synergies.
  • Support the Integration of new businesses into the Group
  • Support the Management Team of the Acquired Businesses
  • Work on Tenders for new contracts across multiple industries.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree of Professional qualification in Business or Finance
  • Minimum of 1 years of experience in M&A, corporate development, financial diligence, private equity or strategy consulting.
  • Prior experience in Health and Social Care Sectors, Recruitment or related sectors is desirable.
  • Familiarity with M&A due diligence processes and legal documentation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis tools.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively under tight deadlines.
  • Collaborative team player with a proactive and results-oriented mindset.

Salary and Benefits

  • Competitive salary £32,000 to £36,000 plus bonuses
  • Car lease payments or Travel Allowance up to 10% of basic salary
